  • Are you looking to build a rewarding career in Facilities Management while delivering excellent customer service? We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Assistant / Receptionist to join our Facilities Management team. This role provides hands‑on experience across a wide range of essential building, front‑of‑house, and operational services to support the smooth running of our corporate buildings.

    About the Role

    As a Facilities Assistant / Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for many visitors and staff, providing a professional, welcoming, and efficient front‑of‑house service.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Reception and front‑of‑house duties – greeting visitors, managing sign‑in processes, handling enquiries and providing excellent customer service.
    • Meeting and event support – setting up rooms, preparing spaces, organising equipment, and clearing down after events.
    • Security and access control – issuing ID cards, supporting building access procedures, and monitoring CCTV.
    • Building operations – responding to maintenance requests, reporting issues, and supporting day‑to‑day running of the building.
    • Compliance and safety checks – assisting with fire safety inspections, routine building checks, and ensuring facilities are kept safe and operational.
    • Facilities and housekeeping support – contributing to grounds maintenance, supporting cleaning teams, and helping to maintain a safe and tidy environment.

    This role is ideal for someone who wants broad facilities experience and enjoys delivering high‑quality customer service in a fast‑paced environment.

    About You

    We are looking for someone who is:

    • Friendly, professional, and customer‑focused
    • An effective communicator with good interpersonal skills
    • Proactive, organised, and able to manage time well
    • Confident using ICT systems (training will be provided)
    • Able to work as part of a team and take initiative
    • Willing to learn and develop within Facilities Management
