  • About The Role

  • Shape reward, performance and transparency at scale

    Tower Hamlets is recruiting a Head of Pay, Reward & Performance to lead the council’s pay, reward and performance approach.

    This role is central to building trust, ensuring fairness, and enabling evidence‑based decision making.

    What you’ll do

    • Lead the development and implementation of the pay and reward strategy
    • Oversee job evaluation and ensure consistency, transparency and integrity
    • Lead the council’s approach to pay transparency and reporting
    • Provide expert advice to senior leaders on reward, risk and labour market insight
    • Build strong HR performance reporting and data-driven decision making
    • Ensure compliance with legislation and support financial sustainability

     What we’re looking for

    •  Senior experience in pay, reward or workforce analytics
    • Strong analytical and financial capability
    • Experience advising at senior leadership and political level
    • Ability to lead a specialist team and deliver measurable outcomes
